Automotive Detailing in Jefferson City

your guide to Choosing the right detail

Keeping your vehicle looking its best starts with understanding what each detailing package is designed to do. Think of this as a simple roadmap: start with the basics, then move up the tiers based on the condition of your paint or interior and the level of improvement you want.

Exterior Detailing Guide

Every exterior service begins with the same foundation: a safe hand wash, bug removal, and a spotless towel dry. From there, each package builds on the last, adding deeper cleaning or more correction depending on your vehicle’s needs.

1. Basic Exterior Refresh

This is your go‑to for routine upkeep.

• Removes dirt, bugs, and road film

• Adds short‑term protection to keep the paint cleaner longer

Best for: Well‑maintained or ceramic coated vehicles or anyone wanting a quick refresh.

2. Signature Shine / Decontamination Package

This step goes beyond clean—it restores smoothness and gloss.

• Clay bar + iron remover eliminate embedded contaminants

• Paint feels slick and looks noticeably brighter

• Finished with a 12‑month SiO₂ coating

Best for: Vehicles with rough paint, light fallout, or dull shine.

3. One‑Step Paint Correction

A balanced upgrade that improves both clarity and protection.

• Removes light scratches, swirl marks, and wash marring

• Includes a 12‑month SiO₂ protective coating

Best for: Daily drivers with visible swirls or light defects.

4. Multi‑Step Paint Correction

Our highest level of exterior restoration.

• 2–3 step cut and polish removes deeper clear‑coat scratches

• Restores depth, clarity, and a high‑gloss finish

• Finished with a 12‑month SiO₂ coating

Best for: Vehicles with moderate defects, oxidation, or anyone wanting the best possible finish.

*Each of the exterior options can be added to a ceramic coating package to add lasting shine and durability

Interior Detailing Guide

Interior packages follow the same “build‑up” approach—start with a thorough clean, then add deeper restoration based on the condition of your cabin.

1. Level 1 Interior Detail

A complete refresh for everyday use.

• Vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of panels, vents, and compartments

• Light wipe‑down and protection of surfaces

Best for: Routine maintenance or vehicles that just need a tidy, fresh feel.

2. Level 2 Deep Interior Detail

A full interior reset for heavily used cabins.

• Shampoo and extraction of seats and carpets

• Heavy stain treatment, pet hair removal, and odor neutralizing

Best for: Families, work vehicles, spills, stains, or long‑overdue deep cleaning.

How to Choose the Right Package

• Paint feels rough or looks dull? Choose the Signature Shine / Decon package.

• Light scratches or swirl marks? Go with the One‑Step Correction.

• Deeper scratches or oxidation? The Multi‑Step Correction is the best fit.

• Interior just needs a refresh? Level 1 is perfect.

• Interior is stained, smelly, or heavily used? Level 2 will restore it.

*Pairing an exterior and interior detail also gives you a cleaner overall finish—and saves you money with a bundled discount.

FAQs about Auto Detailing

  • Is there a limit to how many times i should detail my vehicles exterior?

Not really, though when you have our exterior vehicle detailing team work on your automobile, the results last for quite some time following the initial service. Thanks to both the level of decontamination we perform and the paint sealant application to follow, you should only need to detail your exterior once a month.

  • Does a paint sealant keep my vehicle clean after your exterior detailing services?

Yes, though this paint sealant is far more short-term than our glossy ceramic coating packages available via our trained installation team. Following our restorative exterior detailing services, we always encourage you to consider having a Ceramic Coating package installed on your painted surfaces.

  • Is there a difference between vehicle detailing and paint correction?

In some ways, yes. Commonly, exterior vehicle detailing pertains to the hand washing, clay-bar decontamination, and dressing processes that thoroughly remove all contaminants from your exterior. Paint correction is a restorative process aimed at removing any light scratches, dings, stains, and more that have permanently impacted your finish.

  • Should I have exterior detailing done before a ceramic coating?

This is a requirement in many cases! Paint protection packages are long-term investments that can last for nearly a decade in most cases, so anything that gets trapped below it will be locked in time for that period as well. We at Mid-Mo Dents often require your automobile to be detailed prior to the installation of a ceramic coating, depending on your selected package.

  • Do you perform deep stain removal?

We can certainly do this, though bear in mind that the price may be impacted depending on the depth of the stains, the size, or if the stains are biohazard-related damage. This removal process will bring back your new car smell by ridding carpeted and cloth areas of deep grime that has long grown foul with odor.

  • Can interior detailing fix destroyed interiors?

This depends on what the damage is exactly. Again, stain removal and UV fading can be remedied and the surfaces affected by those occurrences protected in the future. However, ripped leather and cloth or broken components must be dealt with by auto body professionals.

  • Are there any steps I can take to upkeep my interior better?

The best advice we have for the conscientious vehicle owner is to keep up with your monthly visits to our Jefferson City, MO vehicle detailing shop. Nothing beats a professional interior detail job, and our experts love building long-term relationships with our customers and their unique vehicles.
