Full Detail & Ceramic Coating for a Used Corvette
This week at Mid-MO Den, we’re working on a used Corvette with swirl marks from poor washing habits. We’ve set it up for our lifetime ceramic coating package, but first, we’ll perform a wash, clay bar treatment, and a one-step polish to remove those surface swirls.
Prep Work and Application
We meticulously cleaned the car with a foam cannon and clay towel, then followed with a one-step polish. After polishing, we checked the results under a paint correction light to ensure flawless results. Next, we removed polishing oils with a wax and grease remover to ensure a pristine surface for the ceramic coating.
Ceramic Coating Process
Our ceramic coating process uses a professional-grade coating that takes about five minutes to flash. We apply and level the coating with the three-towel method, ensuring the best finish. Once the coating flashes (indicated by a sweating effect), we level it to perfection.
The End Result
With the process completed and four layers of ceramic applied, this Corvette shines like new. The customer was thrilled, and it’s definitely a head-turner in town! Have any questions about ceramic coating? Drop them in the comments, and we'll see you in the next video!
